lauren and joel – denver wedding photography

Lauren and Joel have an amazing bond of culture, friendship and most importantly, love.  They settled into their photography session with us immediately, with Joel grabbing his guitar and serenading Lauren with songs, laughing together and just being themselves.  Joel is from Honduras, and it was so cool to hear them switch seamlessly between spanish and english during the session.  They even brought a soccer ball which made for some great shots!  Thanks you guys for being such amazing people, and especially having us photograph your wedding celebration in two weeks!  ~ Dave & Lynn

let the camping season begin!

When we’re not shooting weddings and families, we try to get to the mountains as much as we can.  And now that we’ve got Lucca and our new campervan to play in, we’re more excited than ever to roadtrip!  To start the season off, we joined our group of friends for the 2nd Annual Fruita Camping weekend, complete with a huge campground, an awesome hired cook for the weekend, and lots of kid entertainment!  Lucca was a trooper on his first camping trip, and having the VW bus for him to sleep in was a dream!  Here’s a few shots of Lucca and the whole group.
