Shootshops ~ denver photography workshops

“I have this fancy new camera, but I don’t know what any of the buttons do!”
“I know what I want my picture to look like, but I can’t get my camera to do it!”

If this sounds like you, you are the perfect candidate for a ShootShop! Simply put, a ShootShop is a photography workshop…
but the words “photography” and “work” never pair well together.  Shooting images should be fun, and that is what your ShootShop will be for you!

zach and lauren ~ married!

We recently photographed Zach & Lauren’s wedding in Denver, CO.  Between Zach’s kind nature and Lauren’s beautiful singing voice, they’re such a sweet, sweet couple it makes you suspect something doesn’t add up….but then we did the math:

zach + lauren = LOVE.

Matisyahu @ Red Rocks!

I had the great pleasure of combining two of my favorite things:  photography & music!  I photographed the Sublime w/ Matisyahu show at Red Rocks Amphitheatre, easily one of the most amazing fantastical places in the world to see…well…anything!  Matisyahu is one of my favorite artists; he’s a hasidic Jewish musician, and his music style blends traditional Jewish themes with reggae, rock and hip hop sounds.  Great stuff!

Matisyahu posted some of my images on his WEBSITE, and I thought I’d share a few here.  Also, please check out his music and support the artist by downloading some tunes….Enjoy!  ~Dave

kate & danny ~ married!- denver wedding photography

We have been looking forward to Kate & Danny’s wedding for a LONG time ~ They are two of the most genuinely wonderful people we have met, and if stars really do align themselves, they certainly did for these two.  Kate and Danny have the most romantic, loving, and respectful relationship… it’s obvious that they know what a treasure they have in each other.  Their love is powerful & contagious, and we were so honored to be a part of their wedding day.  We love you two & wish you the very best!!

Flashes of Hope

We had the huge honor and privilege of spending a day with 11 children at the Children’s Hospital a few weeks ago.

We are so grateful to Flashes Of Hope for giving us this opportunity.   Please check out this phenomenal nonprofit ~ their mission is to help change the way that children with cancer see themselves through the gift of photography.  They aim to “help children feel better about their changing appearance by celebrating it.”

Just being in the presence of these kids….helping to give them a short period of freedom & laughter was incredibly moving.  As I sit here, looking through these images, I have tears in my eyes.  These children are so beautiful, so strong, and so innocent.  I just wanted to lift each one of them up and give them a gigantic, heartfelt hug ~ to cry with them for all they have been through & all that they face, to give them words of encouragement and hope, and to tell them how truly, truly beautiful they are.

We are profoundly moved, and so grateful for Flashes of Hope.  Thank you to each one of the children and families that we photographed….. we hope your images bring you joy!  ~ Lynn
